If your motherboard has 2 PCIe enhanced power connector and a power cable is connected, then my extension cable does not need to be connected to the connector. If your motherboard does not have a PCIe enhanced power connector, then my extension cable must be connected to the power supply.

Is there any EMI shielding for Cable?

The thickness of the cable wire is 1.4mm, so the wire is softer. The wire can be bent or folded, but do not pull it.
