Q&A:

Is there any EMI shielding for Cable?

The extender utilizes the latest materials for EMI shielding with five sole flat cables design. This technique allows each cable to be fully covered by electromagnetic interference shielding with conducting polymer to guard against incoming or outgoing emissions of electromagnetic frequencies, minimize disturbance and degradation on performance, and reduce the weight of the extender.

What is the thickness of the cable? Is it soft? Can it be bent?
The thickness of the cable wire is 1.4mm, so the wire is softer. The wire can be bent or folded, but do not pull it.

Difference between open and closed:

The closed type interface will fit the sound card quite well.

The open type interface has more compatibility. For instance, an x4 internet card can fit the open type interface.

For PCI-E Audio Card Extension:

The size of the mini / micro ATX motherboard is relatively small. Therefore, the distance between the graphics card and the sound card is too close. The fan of the graphics card is blocked by the sound card. The temperature of the chip is too high. The 3D performance of the graphics card is unstable. The sound card is also subject to electromagnetic interference from the fan of the graphics card, causing high-frequency cracking or current noise at the bottom noise.
